Position Responsibilities:
The Oracle SCM Technical Team Lead role will provide direction to the team, lead projects, and act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Proactively seek opportunities to improve business processes and leverage standard functionality. Provide technical and business knowledge to ensure the Manufacturing and Distribution modules are configured & leveraged to SW's best advantage. Conduct detailed research of vendor products and assists with general project management.

Essential Functions

Strategy & Planning
o Work with management to generate quarterly work plans.
o Recommend business process improvements.
o Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
o Compile and recommend wants/needs for the annual budgeting process in related ted technologies and prepares presentation to senior IT management.
o Conduct research and proof of concepts for new technologies such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) etc.
o Determine staffing and skills requirements.
o Drive change.

Acquisition & Deployment
o Plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with consultants for implementations.
o Verify and suggest changes to requirement gathering, design documents, perform impact analysis for application changes.

Operational Management
o Provide solutions and suggest changes to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Manufacturing and Supply-Chain areas and suggest process improvements. (INV, OPM, Costing, PO, OM, WMS, ASCP, etc.)
o Lead user sessions for requirement and testing (Prototype/Integration/Regression).
o Guides functional / technical team in the development of reports, conversions, interfaces and extensions for Oracle Applications.
o Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently.
o Provide business reports to management and clients.
o Conduct activities like staffing, performance and resource management, and strategic direction of the team.
o Set employee objectives, monitor and evaluate performance and provide feedback and mentoring.
o Create and maintain development plans for each team member, including training, skills assessment, career planning, and goal planning.
o Manage personal growth objectives for the Team in conjunction with Career Development Office.
o Assign or develop and implement project plans to successfully meet objectives.
o Manage, develop and mentor team members toward the building of a strong team.

Incidental Functions
o Attend management meetings on behalf of team.
o Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
o Train and share knowledge with development teams.
o Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
o Responsible for hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience Required:
o 10+ years IT experience.
o Supervisory experience a plus
o 6+ years ERP application experience.
o Experience in at least three (3) full life cycle Oracle implementations.
o Experience in leading at least three (3) projects as a Project Lead or Project Manager.
o Proficient in at least two (2) business process cycles, e.g., Demand to Build, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.
o Expertise in Oracle Process Manufacturing will be an added advantage.
o Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle Supply Chain modules.
o Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
o Experience reviewing, coding and guiding PL/SQL programmers when necessary
o Guide the development of technical objects using SQL, PL/SQL, Toad, Discoverer, Informatica, Unix, XML Publisher, Oracle Apex and ETL tools
o Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework and related development environments
o Experience directing and creating process flows and detailed technical design specifications (MD070) from business requirements and collaborate with business analysts, business users and other developers in development of new technical objects within the Oracle applications environment.
o Experience mapping and Integrating various legacy systems with the Oracle application through interface programming and ETL tools
o Experience designing, developing, deploying, testing and maintaining technical RICE objects that exist in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications production environment, e.g., reports, interfaces, conversions and custom applications extensions utilizing the Oracle Development tools like Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Web ADI, Workflow Builder, Discoverer,Alerts, OAF, Concurrent Programs, Request Sets, etc.
