Position Summary
The primary role of the Developer is to translate the solution design into a technical design and
iAppmplement that in the target solution/application. This is done through the review, analysis, and
modification of application systems including the coding, testing, debugging and installation to
support the organization's applications.

Responsibilities and Expectations
o Read and understand the business requirements and solution design
o Translate solution designs into a technical design and implementation
o Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define
data processing needs
o Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating design and technical issues
o Responsible for collaborating with the Business & Systems Analyst to resolve gaps
between the business requirements and design specifications
o Develop high-level and detailed solution design and implementation documentation
o Create release and roll-out and roll-back procedures
o Write and maintain technical documentation
o Document system problems and resolutions for future reference
o Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user
access and component configuration
o Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are
inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise
o Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure
connectivity and compatibility between systems
o Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or
accessed by the network
o Create other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation

Qualifications and Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related disciplines or
equivalent work experience required.
o Extensive knowledge of computers and operation systems, to include configuration and
o Experience with software and hardware:
o Ability to plan, implement, test, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for
operational problems
o Ability to determine the nature of operational problems and develop solutions for
o Knowledge of programming logic and codes:
o Knowledge of computer flow charts
o Adhere to security procedures and protocols
o Ability to multi-task and take ownership of assignments
o Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights and weekends, in response to the
needs of the systems being supported
