Answers to common questions about working with us.

Your Burning Questions, Answered

What to know about working with Emerald Resource Group.

How soon can I start working?

Job availability changes frequently. Once you complete our application process, you will be offered appropriate positions based on your preferences, experience and skills.

What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, you will not pay for any of the services Emerald Resource Group provides.
What is involved in the application process?

You can complete our application online. You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as preference of shift, type of work, and location preference.

After the application is complete, you may be invited to interview with a staffing manager. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss your skills, experience, and what you are looking for in your next position. The staffing manager will discuss what specific skills you have and find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.

Once you have completed the interview, you will go through basic safety training. For office and professional positions, you may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels.

Emerald Resource Group conducts reference checks with previous employers and other references you provide. Once reference information is complete, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors that make up your application and interview process.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to turn it down?

Not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position we offer, you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.

What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?

We realize not every job will be a good fit for you. Sometimes you will not know that until you have tried the position. If you are on an assignment and find it will not work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately.

You may be asked to stay on an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is the key. We expect open communication from our field employees, and they can expect the same from the Emerald Resource Group office.

How can I stay informed about open positions?
Our positions will be posted on our website and updated regularly, so check our job board frequently. We ask that you keep us informed if your availability or interests change, or if you gain any additional experience, certifications or education, and we will update your profile.
